The Chicago Robotics Invitational is a premier FTC off-season event that features the previous competitions field with a slight twist. This year teams will compete in 3v3 matches on a 16×16 field and there are a few new scoring elements that have altered and have been added.
The event takes place on July 10-11 at Francis W. Parker School in Chicago, IL.
Check their website for information about the format, game rules and application process.
Team applications are now open for the largest, most competitive, international, off-season FTC tournament in the world!
Teams from regions where the Championship was cancelled or postponed past March 23rd due to the COVID-19 outbreak are encouraged to still apply. In these cases it is vital that you submit a three minute video showing the capabilities of your robot.
When: June 19-21, 2020
Where: Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, MD.
Spots will be earned through achievements on the playing field during the SKYSTONESM season. Applications will close on March 23, 2020. Come be part of the excitement and compete for cash grants for your team!
The British Columbia FIRST Tech Challenge Championships will be held on Friday February 21 and Saturday, February 22, 2020 at St. Michaels University School (3400 Richmond Road, Victoria). Families are welcome to come and watch. The best robot viewing is probably between 2-4pm.
The mission of FIRST is to encourage young people to become science and technology leaders and innovators. We know how hard it is to go to school and still find time to volunteer with FIRST. FTC BC will be awarding up to five $500 honouriums to FIRST Alumni Volunteers to help with their school expenses.
