Pro-D Learn to Build and Program Robots

FIRST BC is offering in person, hands-on workshops to learn to build and program robots used in FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge. This workshop is targeted to teachers who are interested in starting a robots program (in class or after school) for their students. No experience necessary and we provide the equipment!

When: Oct. 22, 2021     9:30am to 3:30pm

Stream A – FIRST LEGO League


Using LEGO robotics kits, create a robot to complete a challenge using sensors and programming in this all day workshop.  Ideal for teachers with students in grades 4-8.

Stream B – FIRST Tech Challenge


You will build, test, and redesign a robot mechanism in the morning.  In the afternoon, you will learn to program using a robot simulator and with actual robots.   Ideal for teachers with students in grades 7-12.

Cost: Free – snacks and lunch provided.
