The mission of FIRST is to encourage young people to become science and technology leaders and innovators. We know how hard it is to go to school and still find time to volunteer with FIRST. FIRST Tech Challenge BC will be awarding up to five $500 bursaries to FIRST Alumni Volunteers to help with their school expenses.

Are you:

  1. FIRST Alumni (participated in a FIRST high school program)?
  2. Currently enrolled in a University, College or Trades program?
  3. A FIRST Tech Challenge Volunteer (team mentor or events) in the 2023/24 season?

If you’ve answered yes to these questions, then please complete the FIRST Alumni Bursary application form by February 4, 2024.

Alumni Bursaries - Cameron Douglas, Hanson Chan, and Georgia Douglas. Not present: Julianna Kwan, Kiarra Fernandes
Past Alumni Bursaries – Cameron Douglas, Hanson Chan, and Georgia Douglas.

A committee will review the applications and the recipients will be announced at the BC FIRST Tech Challenge Championship.

Please contact us if you have any questions.
