Victoria FTC Open Field

Location: University of Victoria ECS 125. please enter from the Ring Road entrance.

Teams can drop in and leave when they want. It’s a chance to see the FIRST Tech Challenge competition field for this season. Teams are welcome to bring a robot and try it on the field (could be from last year, or maybe a new drivebase for testing).

One of our key volunteers has been working with both Tensorflow and Vuforia on this year’s field. He’s got the robot navigating based on vision. It’s a great opportunity if your team members want to learn more about image processing.

Students are welcome to come by on their own. Coaches/Mentors are welcome to come by on their own. Alumni and key volunteers will be dropping in too!
