L.A. Matheson FTC Qualifier 2

FIRST events are free and open to the public. Best time for viewing matches is between 1 and 3:30pm.

The second of two Lower Mainland FIRST Tech Challenge qualifying tournaments will be held at L.A. Matheson Secondary School in Surrey on Saturday January 18 2025. FIRST Tech Challenge qualifying tournaments include judging sessions, robot inspections, qualification matches, playoff matches, and awards.

Schedule

• Start time:  8am (Teams arrive)
• Judging and Robot Inspection: 8:30am
• Opening Ceremony: 11am
• Lunch: 12 noon to 1pm
• End Time:   5:30 pm

Teams will have a judging interview in the morning and robot inspection.  Around 11am is opening ceremonies followed by the first qualification matches.  Lunch is usually 12 noon to 1pm, followed by more qualification matches.  Once all the matches are played, the top teams choose their partners for the playoff matches.  Closing ceremony and awards follow the final matches.
