FIRST Tech Challenge 2021-22 Season
Transportation drives us forward – impacting economies, bridging cultures, and making us all more globally interconnected.  FIRST® Tech Challenge teams will race against time to transport hard-to-move essential goods as they explore the future of transporting relief to those in need in 2021-2022 FREIGHT FRENZYSM presented by Raytheon Technologies.

FTC Season in British Columbia

In British Columbia, we’re planning for a season with Leagues/Scrimmages, Qualifiers, and our Provincial Championships, likely in February 2022.

Kick-off – September 18, 2021
Teams can choose from watching the online event hosted by FIRST, or attending an in-person event in Vancouver or Victoria.

Throughout the fall, FTC BC will be holding workshops and scrimmages. Check back later in September to see the schedule for this year, or check out the workshops from past seasons.

This season, FTC BC will be holding Qualifiers in January. Teams will advance from the Qualifier to the Provincial Championships at the end of February.

FIRST® Tech Challenge encourages teams to design, build, program, and engage in thrilling robotics competitions. Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of innovation and teamwork. The robot kit is reusable from year-to-year and can be coded using a variety of programming languages. Students are encouraged to create team brands and be an ambassador for FIRST and STEM in their communities.
