This year, to tie into the FIRST Dive theme and the FLL SUBMERGED Season, we have partnered with Vancouver Aquarium to host a series of events and display booths right inside the Aquarium. We are grateful for the Vancouver Aquarium to host these events and allow us to put on an FLL Scrimmage as well!

Teams from FLL Challenge and Explore came to showcase their Innovation Projects and FLL Explore displays, and got to tour the Aquarium to explore the many exhibits on marine life in BC. FLL Challenge teams also got to reach out to experts at the Aquarium to ask questions about Coral Reef restoration and sustainment.

FLL Scrimmage on January 5th, 2025

We were also able to host an FLL Scrimmage at the Changing Tides room at the Vancouver Aquarium on January 5th. 14 FLL Challenge teams signed up to practice robot games, get judging advice from expert judges, and meet other teams from the region. Kids had a lot of fun and got to tour the Aquarium to compliment their research for their Innovation project.
